MELVIN WAYNE ROLSTON
1941 – 2007
Wayne passed away suddenly at home on the evening of August 31, 2007.
He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Lois, stepsons Robert (Rita) of Vancouver and Gregory (Heidi) and granddaughter Miranda of Vernon. He is also survived by sisters, Bonny (Wilbur) of Nakusp and Rita of Enderby, brother Alan of Maple Ridge and sister-in-law Cheryl of Maple Ridge as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins and extended family members and friends.
He was predeceased by his mother and father, brother Tom and nephew Daren.
Wayne was born at Trail, BC on June 2, 1941 and grew up in the Nakusp area. He lived in many different places throughout BC and moved to Vernon in 1973 where he was employed by the City. Wayne has been an active member of his church for 10 years. He was a Morning Star carrier for 19 years. At the time of his passing, he was employed as a host for the Super Store in Vernon.

A Memorial Service will be held at Vernon Full Gospel Tabernacle, 5871 Okanagan Landing Road, Vernon, on Monday, September 10 at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Wilf Burger officiating.
