Michael Cochrane's journey thru life ended on August 13.

Michael was born in Penticton to Harold and Hilda Cochrane, (Both deceased). He was the oldest of three children. Mike leaves behind his wife of 28 years, Nyra, his sister Maureen (walt), his brother Patrick (Betty Anne), five adult children, Robert, Michelle, Jenny, Marshall and Waneta, along with numerous nieces, nephews and grand children.

At the age of 12 Mike began working at his dads bike shop, eventually taking over the business. Over time he expanded, owning several shops from Penticton to Vernon.

His business and the car clubs he belonged to gave him the enjoyment of meeting many people throughout his lifetime.

Ford Thunderbird cars were his greatest interest. Mike took great pleasure in his collection of cars as well as a sizable collection of t-bird books and memorabilia. He enjoyed one last ride in his T-bird July 1st of this year.

The funeral service will be held at Pleasant Valley Dignity Funeral home, 433 PV Road, on Friday August 24th at 11 am with tea to follow.
