Michael (Mickey) Norris
Halabisky passed away on January 2, 2007 in Vernon,B.C. Born in Ft. William (Thunder Bay) ON on June 13, 1953. He is predeceased by parents Helen &William Halabisky and brother Bill (Bud). Mickey leaves behind his friend and wife Penny Gauthier, step-daughters Brandie and Billie-Joe Belanger of Vernon, B.C. along with sisters Christine (John) Oger, Alexa (Stan) Hadley, Amy (Barry) Dunn and families of Thunder Bay who he deeply loved and cherished. Being an avid music lover, he was often found playing a tune on any instrument available to him. Mickey was a motorcycle mechanic who graduated from Centennial College in 1985 in
Thunder Bay. He was awarded the Ray Thompson
Award for outstanding achievement. His many xcountry rides brought joy, friendships and adventures in every Province. His comical lyrics will be missed, may he ride on. In memory of Mickey donations may be made to Vernon Hospice Society or the Cancer Clinic at Vernon jubilee Hospital.
