1937 – 2014
It is with great sadness that
we announce the passing of
Nancy on August 3, 2014 in
Vernon, BC, born March 6,
1937 in Cadomin, AB.
She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Lyle
of Armstrong, BC; daughters: Rose Marie Reichert
(Jim) of Armstrong, BC, Donna Hill (Wayne) of
Boise, Idaho, Sharon Louise DeRoserio (Robyn),
Joanne (Shad) Wurm of Fort St. John, BC; brothers:
Dennis, Glen, Sid (Judy); 9 grandchildren; 9 great
grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and
extended family.
She was predeceased by her father and mother:
George Ronald Owen and Dorothy May Owen;
granddaughter: Katherine Owena Reichert; and
daughter: Linda Louise Lloyd.
Nancy lived in Prince George, BC for 24 years before
moving to Armstrong, BC and settling there for 2
months. She was a member of the Royal Canadian
Legion and was a member of the Nechako Métis
Elders.
A Celebration of Life will be held for Nancy at 11:00
a.m. on Saturday, August 9, 2014 at Alternatives
Chapel (2980 Smith Drive, Armstrong, BC) with
an interment to follow at Armstrong Spallumcheen
Cemetery. Those wishing to do so may make a
memorial donation in Nancy’s name to the charity
of their choice. Expressions of sympathy may be
