We regret to announce the death at Hospice House in Vernon on July 17, 2009, of Natalie Chapman, at the age of 73 years.
Natalie was born in Camrose, and was a resident of Vancouver and Kelowna as well as Vernon. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her twin sisters, Valerie of Calgary with son Andy (Jen), and Gloria (Mo) of Lethbridge with daughter Dayna (Dennis) and granddaughter Emma Grace; brothers Bill (Evelyn) Hrudko of Camrose and Leo (Rosemary) Hrudko of Grande Prairie, and their families.
A Celebration of Life Service was held in the chapel of Vernon Funeral Home on Monday, July 20, at 1:30 p.m., with Mr. Brian Jackson officiating.
Her family wrote: “Natalie Chapman was a beautiful, vibrant, and courageous woman. Her love and dedication to the theatre and passion for photography will be remembered through her work and many beautiful photographs. She was best known for her geographical photography of BC and Alberta, and her work with the theatres of Vernon, Vancouver, Kelowna, and Calgary. She will be missed dearly by her family and everyone who knew her!”
