Dec 30, 1981 - Jan 20, 2018
Our dear Natalie has left us. Survived by her father Daniel Ewanyshyn, her mother April Sheehan (and Darrel Sirr), her sister Rita Ewanyshyn, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and many, many good friends and acquaintances.

Predeceased by her grandparents, Michael and Dorothy Ewanyshyn, and Eugene and Eileen Sheehan.

Natalie was the coolest cat around; a gifted artist with a sharp wit and keen fashion sense. She also had a great appreciation of the arts; visual, performing, and literary. She loved her friends and family, gardening, and making all kinds of art. She also loved animals... cats especially.

Nat was born in Chase BC and lived there until 1989 when the family moved to Vernon BC. She went to Beairsto Elementary and upon graduating from VSS in 1999 moved to Vancouver where she made her home (with a few moves back and forth to Vernon over the years). Strathcona was her favourite Vancouver neighbourhood and where she resided for the past few years.

I am sure she would want to remind all of her friends to always have someone they can count on present if they are going to indulge in opiates. It is too much of a risk not to. Her death illustrates that risk perfectly.

A celebration of her life will be held at a later date. In the meantime, remember her.

Live your life fully. Celebrate each day and hold your loved ones close.
