Nick Fedorak 1928-2018

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Nick Fedorak, on July 5, 2018, following a courageous battle with cancer. Nick, a long-time resident of Vernon, BC, will be sadly missed by his son Wayne and daughter Lorraine (John), his brother Walter, nephews Richard (Karen), Ryan (Jane) and Kevin (Trish), his brother Mike, and brother-in-law Michael Farris of Edmonton.
Born February 28, 1929 in Willingdon, Alberta, Nick had an active life raising his family, first in Hinton, then moving to Edmonton as the children reached school age. Nick relocated to Vernon after Wayne moved to the Okanagan Valley. He enjoyed good times shared with his longtime partner Dolly Gaven - dancing, fishing, and visiting with their friends. Nick and Dolly took great pleasure spending long vacations in Hawaii.
In place of a formal service, the immediate family will gather together to remember Nick. The family wishes to thank the physicians and nurses at the Vernon Jubilee Hospital for their outstanding compassion and care.
