Norman Roy Sandy was born on March 24th, 1925 in Delisle, Saskatchewan and passed away on December 21st, 2013 in the Vernon Jubilee Hospital at the age of 88 years.
Norman will be lovingly remembered by his wife Vivian, to whom he was married for 65 years; three sons, Roy (Violet), Larry (Margaret) and Darrell (Tina); six grandchildren, Elizabeth, Charlotte (Russel), Darwin, Amanda, Sabrina (Ryan) and Holly (Jayson); two great-granddaughters, Genevieve and Natalie; two sisters, Rose and Charlotte (Bill); two sisters-in-law, Edith and Joan; and many other family members and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Sophia; two sisters, Ethel and Mildred; two brothers, Raymond and George; one brother-in-law, Gordon; one nephew, Neil; and one cousin, Brian.
Cremation preceded a Celebration Of Norman’s Life which was held at the Schubert Centre on Saturday, December 28th, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. with Mr. Brian Jackson and Mr. Vance Peters officiating. Interment followed in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, those who wish to do so may send donations in memory of Norman to the charity of their choice.
