Olive received her Registered Nurse training from the Toronto General Hospital and went on to work for other hospitals in the Toronto area and in Red Lake, Ontario. She raised her children in Regina, Saskatchewan in the early 1950’s and while the family was settled there, they all had the opportunity to travel around the world extensively, which she thoroughly enjoyed. Olive’s last major trip was through the Panama Canal in her late 80’s. She was a woman of faith and was very active in her church community. She was a very kind, generous, smart, funny and witty woman who will be missed dearly. Olive took up golfing in her fifties and was the winner of numerous trophies in events that she entered. She played her last round of golf at 90 years of age!
