MR. OMER NOEL PEDERSON, a former long time resident of Vanderhoof, B.C., passed away in the Vernon Jubilee Hospital on Wednesday, September 8th, 2004 at the age of 77 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his nine children; Debbie (Gene) Lapointe of Lumby, B.C., Wayne (Leona) Pederson of Vernon, B.C., Sue (Terry) Zawada of Prince George, B.C., Joyce (Cliff) Kilpatrick of Vernon, B.C., Randy Pederson of Prince George, B.C., Patti (Ken) Sochan of Vernon, B.C., Gary (Tina) Pederson of Lumby, B.C., Connie Davies of Vernon, B.C. and Bonnie (Glen) Sochan of Vernon, B.C., his foster daughter Judy, 23 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Phyllis on October 30th, 1996, who he missed so terribly much for the rest of his life, and his grandson, Monte Scott on May 19th, 1996. Omer was an avid carpenter and spent many hours making beautiful items of furniture for his family. He also loved fishing and playing cards. The Funeral Service will be held at the Lumby Christian Church on Tuesday, September 14th, 2004 at 1:30 P.M. with Pastor Sam Tumlinson officiating. Interment will follow in the family plot at Lumby Cemetery. A Reception will take place after the Graveside Service at the Pederson Residence, D5-446-Mabel Lake Road, Lumby, B.C.
