PARKE DAVIS

PARKE DAVIS

Parke Davis

November 23, 1932 – August 20, 2011

After surviving cancer, battling Parkinsons and numerous other ailments, Parke suffered a stroke from which he could not recover.  He spent many years with the Ministry of Health working as a Vocational Rehabilitation Consultant and had a great passion for fixing things, sailing and playing games (crib, bridge, dominos). He also loved to dance and fiddle and was a part of the Old Time Fiddlers until his illness made it too difficult to play. He will be greatly missed by his loving companion Alberta, his children, Shaun, Marie (Sheldon) and Helen (Richard), his numerous grandchildren, his sister, Suzanne and his previous wife, Ann.  Parke was a private person and there will be no service at his request.  Donations in his memory may be made to a charity of choice.  We would like to thank the staff at Interior Health, VJH, Creekside and Hospice House for their loving care and support and a special thanks to Norm for his weekly outings and Dr. Smith for his honesty and compassion. We will miss you Dad!
