(nee Finch)

Born July 21, 1942; passed away at Village by the Station in Penticton after a lengthy battle with Parkinson’s/Lewy Body Dementia on Saturday, September 8, 2012. Patsy was the loving wife to the late Ken; devoted mother to Cindy (Laird) Rottacker, Allan (Joanne) DeLisle, Derrick (Joan) DeLisle, Christopher DeLisle; cherished grandmother to Bradley, Ryan, Asha, Cassie and Nolan; sister to Robert (Patti) Finch and Donna Kowalchuk, aunt to Brian, Carrie, Kevin, Clinton and Bobbie. She was predeceased by her son, Larry; her parents and brother, Ron. Patsy was a beautiful, kind, loving and generous person who will be forever missed not only by her immediate family, but also by her extended family throughout the Okanagan Valley and countless friends. Patsy’s creativity enabled her to teach art to countless people over the years and this passion was obvious to anyone who knew her. Patsy was a wonderful cook and loved entertaining family and friends. She also loved camping, fishing, gardening, decorating her home and her precious pets and chickens. In keeping with her style, in lieu of flowers, donations to the Parkinson Foundation, Good Samaritan Society or to a charity of your choice in her memory would be greatly appreciated. No service by request. The family would also like to convey thanks to all the nurses and staff of the Village by the Station for all their dedicated and supportive care of our mother and sister.
