It is with sorrow in my heart that I announce the passing of my beloved sister Patty on Sept 11th with friends and family by her side. Although plagued by various illnesses throughout the greater part of her life she was always optimistic and when asked was always getting better. A very accomplished artist, Patty also had a life long love affair with hockey. A gentle loving soul is now at peace and her suffering is over.
Cherishing her memory are daughter Jaime, sister Kathy Williamson, on niece and God daughter Patricia (Tad) who was named in Patty’s honour, special auntie Margaret-Lynn who was always there for her, cousins, aunts, and uncles extending from Vancouver, Victoria, to back East plus a wide circle of friends. Thank you Deb and family for looking after my little sister, aslo Chrystal for being there. As well as her other many friends.
I think of you as sleeping from the sorrows and the tears in a place of warmth and comfort where there is no days and years.
And I think of you as living in the hearts of those you touched for nothing loved is ever lost and you were loved so much.
You have left a beautiful memory and you had your summer.
Your loving sister
Patty was a “marmot mum”, and if so desired a donation may be made to her favorite charities “The Vancouver Island Marmot Foundation” or any cat society for homeless cats or simply plant a flower in remembrance.
