July 10, 1933 - March 10, 2019
Pat was born on July 10, 1933 in Vernon BC to Wallace (Mac) and Dora McTaggart. She passed away peacefully with her family by her side on March 10, 2019 at the Gateby Care Facility.
Pat will be loving remembered by her three children son Dave Kendal and daughter Laurie Goldie (Keith) and children Matthew (Dawn, Dean and Gwen), Jane (Bennett) and Jenna (Ryan, Roxy and Mable). Pat was also blessed to have a special son Luke McKay who was the partner of her son Mark Kendal who passed away in 2012.
Survived by her sister Shirley (Jack) Hunter and numerous nieces and nephews. Pat will also be remembered by her many friends in Vernon and in Ontario where she lived for over 30 years.
As per Pat's wishes there will be no funeral service. Cremation arrangements have been made with
Bethel Funeral Chapel. There will be a memorial tea at Schubert Centre on Friday March 22, 2019 from 2-4 pm. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Pat can be made to The Vernon Jubilee Hospital Foundation - Gateby Comfort Fund.
Our family would like to thank Dr. J. Henley,Dr. McGregor and Dr. Abdel-Kader for all of their wonderful care. We would also like to thank the staff from Interior Health that helped with our mother's care over the last few years. We couldn't have done it without you. A very special thank you to the nurses, care aides and activity director at The Gateby Care Facility who took such good care of our mother over the last year.
