STERZIK
MR. PAUL REINHOLD STERZIK, a long time resident of Vernon, passed away at his home on Friday, May 2nd, 2003 at the age of 80 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his three daughters; Marian, Sonja and Monica and their families, his sister, Emmi, his nephew Daniel, numerous other nephews, nieces, extended family members and friends. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Helen in 1994. Paul was an owner of Gustavus Construction and was involved in many building projects throughout the Okanagan Valley such as the Vernon Recreation Complex, many schools and the final one being the building of the Okanagan University College. Paul loved his family and greatly enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, Samantha, Adam and Isaac. He also loved carpentry, fishing and looking after his acreage. Cremation preceded the Funeral Service which will be held at Bethel Funeral Chapel on Friday, May 9th, 2003 at 1:00 P.M. with Mr. Brian Jackson officiating. As an expression of sympathy, those who wish to do so may send donations in memory of Paul to the B.C. Cancer Foundation, designated for Cancer Research, 399-Royal Avenue, Kelowna, B.C. V1Y 5L3.
