1945-2021 ~ With heavy hearts we share the passing of our beloved wife, mother, and nana. Paulette passed away peacefully on October 1, 2021 with her loving family at her side.
Paulette was born on March 9, 1945 in Calgary Alberta. She moved to Vernon BC in 1961 where she met her husband of 58 years, Peter. Outside of a few years living in Golden BC, Pete and Paulette resided in Vernon following their marriage in 1963.
Paulette loved Christmas, crafts and flowers. She also loved to travel and knew how to have fun. Her green thumb blessed her home and cabin with a festive abundance of colour. Above all else, she cherished her family and lit up like one of her lavishly decorated trees whenever they visited. Paulette has the most loving, caring, and gentle soul imaginable. Her infectious smile warmed every heart.
Paulette is survived by her husband Peter, her children Lynnette (Brad), Blair (Barb) and Ryan (Kim), her grandchildren Carson (Torie), Landon (Devyn), Jordan (Kristi), Camryn and Parker, her great grandchild Bohden, and her brother Gordon along with many nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by her parents Tom and Olga, her sister Grace, and her brother Marvin.
A private service by invitation only will be held at 2 pm on October 30, 2021 at Schubert Center in Vernon. Due to the heightened risk of COVID-19, all attendees must be fully vaccinated and wear masks. Proof of vaccination will be required.
