June 10, 1942 - September 17, 2022
What a gal! She always came early and fashionably dressed. Paulette, Gramma, Pauly, all names that encompassed a big hearted, generous, honest, spotless, open and loving spirit who always embraced the moment and lived like she was dying, until the end. A shock to all those who watched her dance the night away on her 80TH birthday in June and tube across Kal Lake this summer.
A sudden and short illness led her to the Kelowna ICU where she passed peacefully surrounded by her near family and enveloped by dear ones far away. Paulette was born June 10th, 1942 inside an Alberta wheat pool grain elevator close to Ribstone, Alberta. She grew up an Alberta girl who worked as an LPN at the Edmonton University hospital.
She and Husband Cyril moved to the Okanagan to love and take care of her beloved grandsons Scott and Jordan born in the 90s. She is survived be her brother Verle (Pat), sister Charlene (Jerry) grandsons Scott and Jordy (Sam) and so very many close family and friends.
Paulette was predeceased by her husband Cyril, her daughter Darcy and son-in-law Ken. Her wishes were for cremation and no service other than close family and friends. A special thanks to her GP Dr Chris Cunningham, the emergency staff of the Vernon Jubilee Hospital and the ICU in Kelowna.
