HUDSON
MR. PERCY EDWARD HUDSON passed away at Vernon Jubilee Hospital on Sunday, March 30, 2003. Aged 80 years. Percy & his wife Dorothy recently celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary. Percy will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by wife Dorothy of Armstrong; sons Pat (Marilyn) of Armstrong and Robert of Langley; daughter Rosemary (Jack) McNeil of Merritt; four granddaughters, one grandson, two great-granddaughters, one great-grandson; nieces, nephews and extended family. Percy served overseas during WWII and the Korean War. Percy and Dorothy lived and raised their children in Surrey. Over the years he was shop manager at a car dealership in New Westminster, had his own courier service and worked for Canada Post. Percy moved to Armstrong from Deka Lake in 1987. A long time member of the Royal Canadian Legion, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, dancing, fly tying and being a handyman. Percy was known for his great sense of humour. He was happiest being outdoors and while spending time with family. A Celebration of Life will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 4, 2003, at Mountain View Funeral Chapel, Armstrong. Reverend Lorraine Powell officiating. Following the service a tea will be held at the Chapel. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Vernon Hospital Foundation or a favourite charity.
