It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Peter Conway Rutherford on February 1, 2019 in his 97th year. Vernon was his home for 46 years. Music was a very big part of his life. He was a member of the Kalamalka Highlanders Pipe Band from 1991 - 2002. He played his accordion in the Backyard Band for many years. He was also a magician bringing happiness to many people. He was loved by all who knew him. Peter was a devoted loving husband, father, brother, Grandpa and Great Grandpa, he will be sorely missed. He had a Great Zest for life up to the very end.
We will have a private family gathering at a later date.
