After a courageous battle with cancer, Peter Wilson Duncan passed away peacefully at Hospice House in Vernon on December 4, 2002. Peter was born in Scotland and came to Canada in 1968. He was a resident of the Vernon area for over 25 years. Peter was very involved in agriculture most of his life, and dearly loved gardening. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, December 10, at 11:00 A.M., at Trinity United Church, with Mr. Brian Jackson officiating. In lieu of flowers, friends wishing to do so may make donations in memory of Peter to either Hospice House, 3506 – 27 Ave., Vernon, V1T 1S4; or to the Salvation Army Food Bank. Arrangements are in the care of Vernon Funeral Home. 542-0155.
