Hubner, Dr. Peter John

1943 – 2012

It is with heavy hearts the family of Dr. Peter Hubner announce his sudden death November 19, 2012 in Buffalo, N.Y.

Peter will be forever loved and missed by his son Robert Wiebe of Vancouver, his partner John Bowen of Buffalo, his brother Paul Hubner of Armstrong, his sister Beverly (Baxter) Wareham of Vernon and his nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and brother Ronald.

Peter was born in Vernon, BC and raised in Lavington, BC. He received his medical degree at U.B.C. He practised family medicine in Vancouver until he retired in 2009. He devoted his life to his son and his patients.

In 2009 he moved to Crystal Beach, Ontario. He enjoyed traveling, gardening, roaming the beach and renovating the cottage.

Cremation. A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
