Passed away on Dec. 14, 2002 age 92 years. Peter, a.k.a. Pat, was a W.W. II veteran (R.C.A.S.C.), a carpenter and farmer. He had the astounding ability to fabricate whatever machine was needed, but he accepted his talents with a quiet humility that reflected his early childhood training which emphasized deeds, not words. “In quietness and in confidence shall be your strength”. We thank his wonderful caregivers who tended to the infirmities of his past few years. His final days, and passing, were eased by the kind staff at the Hospice House. We encourage a contribution to the Hospice Society. An open house celebration of his life will be Wed., Dec. 18, at #18 – 3806 – 27th Ave. from 1-6 p.m. Interment next spring at Coronation, Alberta. Peter’s wife, Amy, died Sept. 14 of this year. He leaves a brother, Donn of Hemet, California; daughter Marion (Dan) Murphy of Nanton, Alberta; son Jim of Kamloops; son Craig (Sheila) of Calgary; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Arrangements have been entrusted to PLEASANT VALLEY FUNERAL HOME 250-542-4333. Messages of sympathy may be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
