We regret to announce the sudden passing of Peter Unruh at his home in Falkland, on March 25, 2005 at the age of 80 years young. Peter will be lovingly missed by his children, John (Marianne) Falkland, Anne, Armstrong, Joyce, Armstrong, Ron (Darlene) Calgary, Shirley, Vernon and Verna (Doug), Lumby his grand children, Michael, Shelley, Marcel, Jessica, Sara, Zoe and Jacob. He also leaves behind 2 sisters, Helen, (Alfred) Nampa Alta, Margaret (Abe), Vander hoof, his brother Frank from Houston and his 3 step children, Roger (Lindsey) Reimche (Kamloops), Wayne (Beckie) Reimche, Hazelton, and Linda (Calvin) Hagan of Hazelton.
Peter spent many happy hours helping the many friends and family members who appreciated his special talents as a mechanic, carpenter and handyman. He loved feeding his birds, working in his garden and he loved driving. He had a special gift for recognizing those that really needed help and always did all he could for them. He enjoyed playing his guitar and singing as well as going to the Vernon Seventh Day Adventist Church.
Peter will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Put your seat belt on Daddy, I love you”.
A simple memorial was held on Thursday afternoon March 31 at 3pm, at the Mountain View Chapel on Smith Drive in Armstrong, BC.
