It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of Noel on Monday May 6 2019. Noel was born in Banff, Alberta but lived in Canmore, Alberta for 71 years till he moved to Vernon, BC to be closer to his family in 2008. Noel was a coal miner at heart. Being employed by Canmore Mines until it closed on July 13, 1979. Later being employed by Steel Brothers, Banff Springs Hotel and Lafarge where he retired at 65. To keep himself busy, dad later worked for Flint at Simpsons Car Wash. He is survived by his daughter Jackie (Barry) Bignold, grandchildren Chad (Jenn) Bignold and Stacy (Greg) Krahn, great- grandchildren Bentley and Braydon Krahn. He is also survived by sister in-law Mary Dickson and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. Noel was predeceased by his loving wife of 58 years Anne, and his parents in the early 70s. Also, sister in-laws Dora Pasemko, Rose Pasemko, brother-in-laws Pete Pasemko, Bill Pasemko and Bill Dickson. Also, predeceased by niece Bonnie Cavanaugh and husband Jim Cavanaugh. A family service will be held at a later date in Canmore where Noel and Anne will both be laid to rest together. Special thanks to ALL the staff at Polson Care Home. The most amazing people one could meet! Until we meet again. Your pain has ended and now ours just begins.
