We are saddened to announce the peaceful passing of Phyllis May Lindsay, on December 2nd at the age of 95 years, at Polson Extended Care, Vernon, B.C. Phyllis is survived by her loving daughter, Gladys Clark, grandson Weslcy Clark, granddaughter Brenda (Dan) Delvecchio, and great-granddaughter, Larisa (14 months), all of Calgary, AB. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Lillian Thomson of Saskatoon, SK; step-sons, Rob (Wendy) Lindsay of Guelph, ON, Don Lindsay of Victoria, B.C.; and many nieces and nephews. Phyllis grew up in Saskatchewan and spent many years in Radisson. She married R. James Noehiring in 1935. They shared many happy years together until his passing in 1976. Phillys was fortunate to find love again and married Merton Lindsay in 1979. They then moved to Vernon where they shared 22 years together. Merton passed away in 2001. Phyllis was actively involved in the community over the years and volunteered faithfully as a member and Elder of Knox Prebyterian Church, Vernon.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church on Monday, December 5, at 2:00 P.M. with Reverend Ed Millin officiating.
