Nothing is as it was, nor will it ever be again. I have lost my love, my best friend, my husband, my darling Pierre. Tu me manques!
Pierre was born in Geneva, Switzerland on September 20th, 1937 and passed away in the North Okanagan Hospice House on October 19th, 2016. I, Marcelle, his wife of 50 years, will hold him in my heart forever. He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, all in Geneva.
He will be lovingly remembered by many friends
in Europe and in Canada.
Pierre was cremated on Monday, October 24th and, in accordance to his wishes, there will be no ceremony. Those who wish to show an expression of sympathy may make a donation to the North Okanagan Hospice Society, 3506 - 27th Avenue, Vernon, BC V1T 1S4.
I wish to thank sincerely the Nurses, the Nurses’ Aids and all the staff and volunteers who gave him such good and loving care throughout his stay of five weeks. They hold a special place in my heart.
