Poldy MacLean (nee Sawchyn) aka "Polly - Pauline"

In loving memory ~
Heaven gained an Angel, but she earned her wings along time ago.
Polly was one of eleven children to Mike and Annie. She was born in Prairie Echo, Alberta, along side with twin Dora.
Polly and Dora did everything together, they loved to sing, dance, garden, knit and shopping for nice clothes. They both loved life to the fullest.
Polly married the second love of her life (Dora first) to John (Jock) MacLean August 17, 1956 in Vancouver, BC. They moved to Prince Rupert in 1958, then moved to Lavington in 1968. Were they raised their family of two girls Diane and Debbie, and one son Dale.
Polly worked many years at Lavington Consumers Glass Plant and Winfield Fruit Packing House.
Polly spent the last 15 year at Canterbury Court living like a princess.
Polly is survived by her sister Helen (Guy), daughters Diane, Debbie (Chris), son Dale (Theresa), grandchildren; Jayme (Adam), Melissa (Jacob), Jesse (Carla) and Emily. Great grandchildren; Daylin, Jayea, Brooklyn, Hunter and Alexander.
Polly was predeceased by her husband Jock, parents Mike and Annie, three brothers Alex, Matt and Alexander, six sisters Mary, Katie, Olga, Dora, Rosie and Nancy.
A celebration of life for Polly MacLean and Dora Swanson will be held August 11, 2022 at 11:00am at the Pleasant Valley Funeral Home.
