With sadness, we announce the passing of Rachel Pearl MacNaughton, aged 87, at the Vernon Jubilee Hospital Friday, April 27th, 2007. Born in Eaton Corner, Quebec, November 18, 1919, Rachel moved to B.C. 1948 remaining in the lower mainland until 1960, Clinton from 1960 to 1969, Quebec from 1969 to 1971, returning to the lower mainland until 1996 at which time she moved to the Armstrong/Enderby area and more recently to Vernon. She is survived by her step-son John (Donna) step-daughter Gail; her brother Harold Hodge of Sherbrooke, Quebec; sister Rhoda Pratt of Edmonton and a number of nieces and nephews who cherish her memories. Rachel received her nursing education in Quebec and practiced as an RN for many years. A private family remembrance will be held at later date.
