In loving memory ~
Today we celebrate with blessed assurance, the knowledge we have that our beloved mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother and friend is now in the arms of our Lord Jesus Christ. She entered heaven on Thursday November 11, 2021 at the age of 75 years.
Raisa Ufimzeff (nee Vinaev) was born on January 7, 1946 in Chugoi, China. She was predeceased by her son Alexander (1976), her husband John (2017) and granddaughter Lily Ufimzeff (March 2021).
She will be dearly remembered by her children, Vera (Serge) Seminutin, Nadia (Alexander) Ivanoff, Luba (David) Bielski, Nick (Marina) Ufimzeff, Greg (Nina) Ufimzeff, Paul (Terri) Ufimzeff, and Dimitry (Ludmilla) Ufimzeff.
Raisa also leaves behind 51 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, as well as 2 brothers, Ivan and Paul Vinaev, and 3 sisters, Paulina Ivanoff, Kate Lizoguboff, and Nadia Prohoroff, and many nieces and nephews.
Our mom was very generous and hospitable, caring deeply for her children's and grandchildren's wellbeing. Her prayer was always that every one of her descendants becomes a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ. She was a true Prayer Warrior. Mom always made sure her freezers were well stocked, and Coca Cola available for children, friends, and strangers when they visited. She has left an amazing legacy for us to carry forward. May our eyes always be fixed on Jesus Christ.
