Ralph Ernest Saluski

Ralph Ernest Saluski died at Vernon Jubilee Hospital on Friday, February 8, 2008 after a brief illness. Ralph was born on September 6, 1949 in Regina, Saskatchewan. He lived on the family farm near Francis, Saskatchewan until he was sixteen when he and his parents moved to Armstrong. Ralph and his dad ran a dairy and hay farm on Thomas Hayes Road until his dad passed away in 1972. After that Ralph worked for a number of years at various places in Alberta before moving to Vernon in 2002. Ralph’s passion was snowmobiling at Hunter’s Range. Horseback riding was also a favourite pastime. Predeceased by his parents Ernest & Mary Saluski, Ralph is survived by two sisters Lydia Ortman and Margaret Kalin both of Armstrong; four nephews, two nieces and numerous other extended family members. Prayers will be recited at 5:00 p.m., Friday, February 15 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Armstrong. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 16 with Father Leo Boyd, O.M.I. celebrant. Interment to follow in Armstrong Spallumcheen Cemetery.
