It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of a loving husband, father, and friend. He is survived by his wife Karen, daughter Jessica, son Curtis (Amanda) and his four legged friend Jamie. Raymond was born in Vernon BC and lived on the same land where he was raised. He ran his own excavation business and met many Vernon residents over the years, with several becoming good friends. Throughout his career, Raymond enjoyed working with his equipment and always said "that he would die with his boots on". He was a hard worker and loved spending the weekends changing and adding to the landscape of his property.
When not working he enjoyed taking drives with his family on adventures through the Okanagan. He loved fishing, gardening and nature. His favourite places were Terrace Mountain, Little Pinaus Lake and the view from his deck. Raymond leaves behind him a passion which lives on in the landscaping and work he provided to his community. He will be missed, but never forgotten.
The family would like to request no flowers. Instead, please donate to the Vernon SPCA.
