Reginald “George” Lambert passed away peacefully at Noric House in Vernon, BC on Monday, May 3, 2004. He was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba on July 10, 1912. Reg married Mildred Kemp on June 29, 1937 and together they raised a family of five children: Edward, Brian, Frederick, Darlene and Carolyn. They lived in Rainy River, Aitkokan and Fort Frances, Ontario until 1978. Reg worked for the C.N. Railway for over 35 years until his retirement to Vernon, BC in 1978. Reg is survived by brother Fred of Eagle River, Ontario; sisters: Frances Bourre and Eva Costello both at Fort Frances, Ontario and Marguerite Wrolstead of Dryden, Ontario. Reg will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Mildred of 66 years; daughters, sons and many friends. He enjoyed music with his favourite artists Dean Martin and Connie Frances. He also enjoyed watching wrestling, gardening, drives in the country and family get togethers. Thanks to Dr. Chan and all the Noric House staff involved in Reginald’s excellent care.
