It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of Rena Agnes Ray on 6th May, 2016 at Hospice House, Vernon, BC. Rena was born on 6th August, 1924 in Sydney, NSW, Australia. She enjoyed her family, gardening, crocheting and Esperanto. Rena was the beloved mother of three children: James Ray, William (Kerry) Ray and Sally (Ken Bassett); and of her four grandchildren: Carl Ray, Luke Bassett, Sam (Rikki) Bassett and Eleanor Bassett. Rena had two great grandchildren: Keith and Lillian Bassett. She was predeceased by her husband Keith James Ray in 1956. In keeping with Rena’s wishes, there will be no public service.
