REVEREND JOHN WESLEY (WES) DE ZEEUW, beloved Pastor of First Baptist Church in Vernon, B.C., was suddenly called Home to be with his Lord on January 2nd, 2004 at the age of 55 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Fran, his children; Stephanie (Tao) and Michael, of Calgary, Alberta, his mother, Sara De Zeeuw of Portrush, Northern Ireland, his sister, Daphne (Stephen) Bruce of Victoria, B.C., his brothers, Leonard (Ans) De Zeeuw of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Mitchell (Marty) De Zeeuw of Los Angeles, California, two nephews and a large extended family in Northern Ireland. He was predeceased by his father, Leonard James De Zeeuw on April 21st, 1987. Wes was a dearly loved Pastor in all the churches he ministered and the congregations of Joy Fellowship of the Sunshine Coast, B.C., Bethel Baptist Church in Sechelt, B.C., Altadore Baptist Church in Calgary, Alberta, Maranatha Baptist Church in Abbotsford, B.C. and McKenzie Fellowship Baptist Church in McKenzie, B.C. will all remember him. Cremation preceded the Memorial Service which will be held at Emmanuel Fellowship Baptist Church, 3412-15th Avenue, Vernon, B.C. on Thursday, January 8th, 2004 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Nada Ramsden officiating.
