Robert Arnold Bell “Bob”


It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Robert “Bob” Arnold Bell on September 8, 2013 at Hospice House in Vernon, BC. Bob was born April 16 1946 in Vancouver, BC. Bob married Val in 1968. They lived on the coast with their two children and in 1992 he fulfilled his dream by building a home on Okanagan Lake. Bob was a hard worker who spent 51 years in the trucking industry doing everything from driving to managing and owning. His passions were his family, boating, living on the lake and traveling. He is survived by his mother Yvonne Sullivan, his wife Val of 45 years, son Chris and his children Tasia, Alicia, Cory (their mother Tracy) of Kelowna, daughter Karen (Ken) and their children Tyler, Kasey and Ryan of Richmond, his brothers Roy (Nancy), Randy, Ross (Sheila), sister Tami (Wayne) and numerous nieces and nephews. Bob was predeceased by his father Bob Bell and brother Ron. A celebration of Bob’s life will be held on Saturday September 14th, 2013 at 2:00pm at the Prestige Inn (4411 32 St Vernon, BC) please share your photos, memories and your smiles – leave your tie at home.
