Robert (Bob) James
It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Bob Bradley on May 3, 2003. He brightened our lives with his quick wit and sense of humour. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 47 years, JoAnne. He was predeceased by his daughter, Debbie. He will be sadly missed by his children, Robert (Charlene), Karen (Joe), Sandra (Bob), Darren (Andrea), 16 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren. He was born in Paddockwood, Sask. on Sept. 23, 1936 and grew up in Vancouver. He moved his family to Vernon in 1973. Bob worked at the Weyerhaeuser Mill in Lumby for 25 years. He retired at the age of 62. He loved spending time with his family. He loved all sports, especially golfing with friends at the Vernon Golf Club and his favourite days were those that allowed him to claim bragging rights on the 19th hole. Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, May 9th at St. James Catholic Church (2607 27th Street) and followed by a celebration of Bob’s life. He will be missed and fondly remembered. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association will be appreciated.
