In Loving Memory of Robert George Graham, aged 70 years, who passed away at Vernon on Thursday, April 17, 2008. Bob will be lovingly remembered by wife Nina of Armstrong; two sons Tom (Ann) Beard of Calgary and Bill Graham of Armstrong; daughter Barbara (Mark) Ferrier of Vernon; two granddaughters Giniel and Samantha; extended family and friends. He was predeceased by his parents and one sister. Born and raised at Port Coquitlam, Bobs career was clerk in municipal offices, firstly in Pt. Coquitlam, then Edmonton, then Salmon Arm until moving to Armstrong in 1971 where he has resided since. Bob was Clerk/Treasurer for the Township of Spallumcheen for many years. His interests included collecting stamps, coins, insulators, reading and old cars. Bob loved travelling, the outdoors and spending time with family. Active in the community, he and Nina ran a convenience store and gym for many years, and Bob kept the community on it’s toes with letters to the Editor. A Celebration of Life Tea will be held at the Odd Fellows Hall, Armstrong, on Friday, April 25, 2008, at 1:30 p.m. Donations in memory of Bob may be made to the Vernon Jubilee Hospital.
