It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert (Bob) who passed away peacefully with family at his side on September 14, 2021 in Vernon Jubilee Hospital.
Bob was predeceased by his parents Arthur J. Bird and Eileen (nee Dickey)
He is survived by his children Robert, Diana (David) and Trevor (Debbie). Grandchildren Justin (Anna), Alycia and Matthew. Great grandchildren Trace, Addalynn, and Milla. Two brothers David and Richard, and sister Wendy.
Bob was born in Victoria and moved to the Okanagan in 1962 where he grew his business in hair styling in Lumby and Vernon for 46 years.
He was loved by many and will be remembered for his graciousness and giving and open heart to all.
The family would like to thank "all" of the many doctors and nurses that helped with Bob's care. No services at this time.
