The family of Robert (Bob) Svenson is saddened to announce his passing at Hearthstone Manor on March 19, 2018.

In retirement they stayed on the farm until 2005 then moved to Lumby, then Carrington Place in Vernon. Bob was predeceased by Flo, his wife of 70 years, in 2012 and his brother Walter in 2010.

C. grandchildren:  Stephen Svenson, Michelle (Dave) Simkulet, James (Renee) Svenson, Curtis (Sylvia) Svenson, Richard (Alicia) Svenson, Shannon (Brad) Litke, and Shawna (Roger) Green as well as 10 great grandchildren.

He will be lovingly remembered by Gayle Svenson, numerous nieces and nephews, and many fishing friends. His hobbies were gardening, traveling, square dancing, camping, hunting and especially fishing. He took great pleasure in teaching his children, grandchildren, extended family and friends the art of fishing and fly casting and instilling a love and appreciation of nature.

Bob will be remembered for the mutual love he shared with his family and loyalty to his friends and business associates. The family would like to express their gratitude for the warm care and kindness he received from the staff at Hearthstone Manor and Carrington Place. As per Bob's wishes there will be a private family farewell at a later date.
