Robert Wagner

Robert Wagner

Family and friends are extremely sad to announce the

passing of our best friend, husband, father and son on

December 5, 2008. Bob was born in Matsqui and moved

with his family to Williams Lake and fi nally to Armstrong

in 1961. He grew up on the family dairy farm, which he

eventually bought from his father who retired in 1981. He

met his wife Terry in 1974, married in 1979 and had three

children. Bob was a keen dairyman and was a member

of the North Okanagan Holstein Club for 35 years. His

greatest achievement was winning his Master Breeders

Shield from Holstein Canada in 1999. Terry and family will

continue the farming legacy Bob leaves behind. Besides

Bob’s passion for his farm, he enjoyed fi shing, camping,

curling and especially “smash time” with his friends. Bob

is survived by his wife Terry, daughter Michelle, sons Matt

and Marc, father Wilf, mother Thelma, three sisters Barb

(Dave), Shelly (Mel), niece Garnette, nephew Chris, Sheila

(Darren), and his “brother” Don (Sasi), children Dylan,

Panalai and Deacon of Thailand as well as his mother-inlaw

Terry Fournier.

A Celebration of Bob’s life will be held

Friday, December 12, 2008 from 1-4 pm

at the St. Joseph’s Church Hall in Armstrong.

Please come and share your memories.
