Bob was born in Vernon, B.C. July 19th, 1935 and passed away peacefully at the Pavillion in New Denver, B.C. August 24th, 2019.
Bob was pre-deceased by his parents John and Kay, his brother Sonny and sister Darlene.
He is survived by his children from his marriage to Karen Davis (nee Bailey), Michele (Roamz), Michael (Charlene) and Maegan Deighton (Chris). He is also survived by his long time companion, Sue Bregg and her three sons; Q.B (Kim), Dallas (Carly) and Paul. Bob is survived by ten grandchildren; Maddison, Rylee, Katie, Dylan, Meadow, Kinglsey, Bram, Parker, Monty and Jagger; two nephews; Jason and Kirby and four nieces; Carrie, Debbie, Beverly and Linda. He is also survived by his brother Reg (Doreen) of Vernon, B.C.
Bob enjoyed sports both as a participant and as a spectator. He played lacrosse in his early years and later golf, which he enjoyed playing most of his life.
He spoke fondly of a seven month trip to Europe embarked on early in 1956 with two close friends Harvey Gee and Herb James.
Bob's career began in finance upon his return from Europe in 1956, first with IAC for many years, leaving the firm to take the position of Western Branch Manager with the Continental Bank of Canada.
Later in life he obtained his commercial real estate license working for a period in Las Vegas.
He spent his early retirement years in Victoria, moved to Nakusp in 2013 until admitted to the Pavillion in New Denver where he passed peacefully from this life.

There will be a celebration of life for Bob on October 26th, 2019 at the Prestige Hotel, 4411 32nd St., Vernon, B.C in the Okanagan Salon from 12 pm to 3pm
