Roger Joseph Albert Riopel, 71, of Vernon, British Columbia, passed away peacefully in his home on Monday July 11, 2016. Born on August 16, 1944 in Morinville, Alberta. He is survived by Phyllis, his wife of 32 years and his sons Michael and Lee Riopel and 3 grandchildren, Brooklyn, Brianna and Brennen, and his sisters Rita, Lea and Laurette.
Roger is predeceased by his parents Arsene and Marcelle (nee Cormier), his brothers Romeo and Lucien. Roger was a passionate man who enjoyed carpentry and woodworking. He lived in Alberta many years before moving to Vernon.
