Ronald Keith Davy
May 26, 1950 – November 30, 2007
Ron passed away at Whitehorse General Hospital after a very courageous battle with cancer. We are very saddened by our loss.
Ron was born in Enderby, B.C. and spent his childhood in the Mara and Enderby area. His schooling took place there and he went to high school in Salmon Arm, B.C. In his younger years he played hockey, at which he excelled.
He became a world traveler for a while, worked in Salmon arm, and then made the trek north. After trying the “quest for gold” he finally settled for the profession of floor installer, which he has worked at for 30 years.
He is survived by his wife, Ann Marie Yahn
(Annie); parents, Keith Davy of Mara, B.C., and Peggy and Alvin Raboch of Enderby, B.C.; sister Lynne Fulton, Armstrong, B.C.; son Kiel, Fort Mc Murray, AB; daughter Megan, Armstrong, B.C.; uncle Jamie Lowes, Duncan, B.C.; cousin Rupert Davy, Maple Ridge, B.C.; other numerous
cousins; Annie’s 2 sons, Andrew and Steven Yahn; and the many members of his extended family.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the doctors and nurses of WGH, the Home Care nurses, the Paramedics, and especially to Dr. Tadepalli, for the exceptional dedicated care Ron received from them all.
A “Celebration of Ron’s Life” will take place on Wednesday, December 12th at 2 o’clock in the lounge at the Royal Canadian Legion in
A Memorial Service for Ron will be held in Enderby, B.C. sometime early in the summer of 2008.
