Ron was born in Swan River, Manitoba on January 19th, 1957, and he passed away in Vernon, B.C. on January 3rd, 2023, at the age of 65 years old.
Ron began his trade as an electrician in Winnipeg, Manitoba before relocating with his family to Vernon, B.C. in 1991. There he worked as an independent electrical contractor while also constructing three separate homes which he lived in with his wife and children. Ron's work van could often be found at the Okanagan Assembly Center of Jehovah's Witnesses on Mission Hill Road where he volunteered his free time, carrying out electrical maintenance and upgrades to the building.
Ron was a faithful member of the Jehovah's Witnesses for his entire life. Ron also loved the outdoors and always made time to canoe, camp, hike, ski and mountain bike with his family. When he wasn't busy working or spending time outdoors, he could be found building and inventing in his workshop. He leaves behind his loving wife Donna, his two children, Brennan and Danica (James), as well as extended family in Vernon, B.C., Calgary, AB and Swan River, MB.
His passing leaves a huge void that will be impossible to fill.
He will be greatly missed.
