It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of RONALD EMIL SCHRAM on July 15, 2004, in Vernon at the age of 82 years. Ron was predeceased by two infant brothers and leaves to mourn, his loving family: wife of 32 years Luella, 9 brothers; Phillip (Jessie), Norman (Lydia), Robert (Jenny) all of Kelowna, George (Ann) of Vernon, Don (Shirley) of Lavington, Thomas (Sandra) of Vernon, Jack (Clara) of Dawson Creek, Elmer (Pearl) of Campbell River, William (Joan) of Saskatoon, brothers-in-law; John (Doris) Kurbis of Burnaby & Ernie (Joan) Kurbis of White Rock, Odin Jacobsen of Prince Albert, sisters-in-law; Loretta Ellison of Kamloops & Evelyn Kurbis of Vernon, along with numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members. Ron was a resident of Vernon since 1924. He was a veteran of WWII and was very active in St. John’s Lutheran Church. Funeral Service wil be held on Tuesday, July 20th, 2004 at 11:30 am, in St. John’s Lutheran Church with Pastor Roy White officiating. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to do so may make donations to a charity of choice in Ron’s memory. Funeral arrangements are in the care of VERNON FUNERAL HOME 250-542-0155.
