It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Ron Redstone. He was born in Kelowna and grew up in Peachland from the age of 7.

On leaving high school he went to Los Angeles to study Diesel Mechanics, on his return to BC he came to Vernon, where he worked, and then opened his own business Interior Fuel Injection Service which serviced diesel pumps for large equipment from all over BC.

Ron is survived by his wife, Valerie, son Bruce, granddaughter Anna and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was generous and always willing to help all who knew him with a ready smile. He loved the outdoors, was an avid fisherman, a meticulous flytier, skied, cross country skied, and was one of the founding members of the Vernon Snowmobile Club.

We as family enjoyed, and have many happy memories of 43 years of summer at the cabin we built on Okanagan Lake.

Ron was a proud member of Miriam Lodge #20 and the Vernon Shrine Club.

Those wishing to make a donation in his memory, please do so to the Shrine Children's Hospital Care of Vernon Shrine Club 3005A 32nd Street, Vernon BC.
