Ross Barker


Dec. 3, 1914 – July 31, 2006

The family of Ross Barker sadly announces the passing of Dad in Vernon, B.C. Ross was the only person born in Alcove, B.C. (somewhere between Knutsford and Rosehill…near Kamloops). He proudly served his country overseas during World War Two with the Westminster Regiment, 1940 – 1945. Dad was predeceased by mom, Ronnie, who passed away October 9, 2004. Ross will be remembered with love by his daughters Elaine (Ken), Lynne (Dennis), son Victor (Pauline) and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. At Dad’s request, there will be no funeral service. A Celebration Of Ross’s Life, for family and friends, will be held at Victor’s home in Vernon (558-0222) at 3 P.M. on Saturday, August 12, 2006. Cremation arrangements are in the care of Vernon Funeral Home. 542-0155
