Ruby, age 90, died peacefully on July 11, 2018, at Polson Residential Care Facility.
She was born in Alberta, where she applied her cooking skills at the age of 12. Mom had many skills which allowed her to work in a variety of jobs. For several years she provided excellent meals and bakingat the Legion, and Army and Navy Club, as well as privately. She also loved attending Valley Auction every Thursday, as well as garage sales.
She will be forever loved and missed by her daughters, Shirley and Elaine (Reg), as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great- grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Betty (John), brothers: Wilfred (Eleanor), Marvin (Lynne) and in-laws Inez and Nita, as well as, many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by husband, Denis, in 2012; sons: Gordon and Lynn; and brothers: Sam and Herb.
The family would like to thank the staff of Polson Residential Care Facility for the care and compassion shown to mom while she was a resident there.
In respecting her wishes, there will be no formal service held.
