Russell Eugene Burns passed away peacefully on
Thursday, December 14, 2006. Aged 92 years. Russell will be sadly missed by son Larry (Sharon) of Armstrong; daughters Myrna (Gerry) Kress of Port Moody and Alberta (Jim) McInnis of Vanderhoof; half-brother Larry Repp of Victoria; grandchildren Karen Wiebe, Brent Treichel, Beverly McInnis, Sandy McInnis, Bryan Burns and Dawna Day; twelve great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Predeceased by wife Elsie in 2002, and one brother Albert. Born at Prince Rupert, Russell moved with his family to Tacoma, Washington at age five then to Bently, Alberta, one year later. In 1953 he moved to Port Coquitlam where he worked in the mill for twenty-five years until retiring. He then moved to Armstrong where he has resided since. A Graveside Service will be held 1:00 p.m., Monday, December 18, 2006, at Armstrong Spallumcheen Cemetery. Louise Burton officiating.
