Mrs. Sally Dyley nee Ruszkowski
Sally Dyley, age 94 years, passed away at Vernon Jubilee Hospital on December 10, 2005, after a brief illness. Sally was born in Poland on October 17, 1911, and lived in Saskatchewan with her family until moving to Armstrong in 1947. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed her flowers, cooking, cards, crocheting and her many friends. Sally was employed at the Armstrong Cheese Factory until retiring in 1973. She was able to live in her own home until she went to the hospital three weeks ago. Sally was predeceased by her husband John in 1975 and was the last member of her family. She will be lovingly remembered by her family, daughter Helen Mussenden (Clint) of Vernon; two sons Walter Dyley (Edna) of Maple Ridge and Nick Dyley (Judy) of St. Louis, Sk.; three grandchildren, six great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends. Funeral Service will be held at the St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Armstrong, on Saturday, December 17, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. Reverend Father Leo Boyd, O. M. I. officiating. Interment in the family plot of Armstrong — Spallumcheen Cemetery.
